searching for Vaisnava's in Stockton, CA area -

Rasaraja dasa - Thu, 30 Oct 2003 11:07:28 +0530
Dandavats. All glories to the Vaisnava devotees of the Lord.

I am looking for Vaisnavas in the Stockton, CA area. Institutional connections simply not a concern. Looking for devotes who enjoy bhajan and celebrating the beauty of our tradition and the opportunity to associate with devotees. Finding a family would be a huge plus as I have a beautiful family with two sons, Rasaparayana dasa (6 yrs) and Chaitanya dasa (20 months).

Dandabat, Rasaraja-ji,
All Glories to the Vaishnav devotees of the Lord.
Sorry I am in another continent entirely. Harisaran lives in California but is busy avoiding forest fires right now (Let's all pray for his family's safety).

But you write 'too many years too many tears' and I just want to say I hope you find what you seek and manage to leave the difficult years behind.

Brajmohan Das.

The name made a familiar echo in my ears; I thought he must be a Vaishnava celebrity of some sort, I just couldn't figure out where I'd heard the name before. Welcome onboard.

Dandavats. All glories to the Vaisnava devotees.

Thank you for your kind words. I am happy to see a site with such great conversations and cultured mood. I am a rather different person since my 108 days so please forgive me if I was ever a bit rough around the edges.

I would love to find some devotees in the area to visit with. My family and I are very happy in California with the exception of the lack of association. We live a simple life caring for our dieties Sri Radha Gopicandra and have two terrific children. To find some nice devotees in the area would be terrific.

Anyhow, thank you very much for everyone kind welcome.

Have you ever heard the Shelter album, the one with the circular face of Jagannatha on the cover? Is it good music?

Welcome, Rasaraja-ji! biggrin.gif

Dear Tarun Krsna prabhu,

Dandavats. All glories to the Vaisnavas.

I slightly remember your visit to NY but it is a bit hazy. I don't know if I was in a bad mood during those days as much as I was very weary of the devotees I met. It seemed like many of the devotees, especially in Europe, used us to help get whatever they wanted without thinking of us as human beings, what to speak of as aspiring devotees. I began to feel more like a commodity than an artist or aspiring devotee.

One person that I will also remember fondly from our travels abroad was His Holiness Sacinandana Swami. What a sweet and soft hearted devotee! I had the opportunity to speak with him on the phone this past summer while he was visiting the US. My family and I were spending time at His Holiness Giriraja Maharaja's place and Maharaja happened to call from NY while we were there.

Anyhow, I am glad that you are well and still with the devotees.
