about life in Indiya - how to bee

Dear Vaishnavas!
I see many as in the raganuga diskushons prezentet now!
I wanted jast ask about: I reed and heer many books,
were tels, that sinsir sadhaka of Raganuga bhakti
mast life (stay) in Vrindavan...
Espesholy for me and I feenk for anader Evropian vaishnavas
it is very diffikult( hay tempricher, food, indiyan peoplels with anader castems and conchiesness...)
Can somebady aksplaine to me how to will live in Indiya
and not to be disterbs by oll of that.
I heer, that Indian Gurus olveys wants as, that wee olveys
stay in Vrindavan , bat I dont know, how to praktikally
follov that?
can You tell me how to live?
Here - in Evropian country - no divoshen,
bat in Indiya many sadhus, bat not posoble to stay ...

Dear rasika,
I met several Russian Vaishnavas living in India, who say that life in India is really easier than life in Russia right now! It really depends on the individual, and where in India you want to stay. Some parts of Vrindavan can be difficult, other parts have some comforts. If you have money it might be possible to arrange quite a comfortable life in India, where everything is cheaper, but it is also possible to get cheated and you need to be careful. There is no easy answer. There are some reliable Ashrams in Vrindavan. I have heard that 'Chitrakoot' opposite the Iskcon Temple on Bhaktivedanta Swami Marg is cheap and good, and the Raman Reti area (around the Iskcon Temple) has others. From there it is possible to get taxi to all the important parts of Braj, where it might be more difficult to arrange accomodation. Also western-style food is available at the Iskcon Temple if you have difficulty with Indian food (also travel agent, internet and various reliable services are there, but accomodation may be very expensive).

Ultimately, you can have Vrindavan where-ever you are by reading the books of the Gosvamis and trying to follow their teachings.

It is sometimes not easy for a person raised in the west, to live in india.
There are many samskaras or things we are used to. Always electricity, plenty of water, etc. Many things are more easy to get here.

Even if so, as stronger as the desire for entering into the loving sentiments of the dweller of Vraja gets the stronger becomes also the desire to prolong the visits in india.

Meditation on Vraja reduces a bit the loss of living here.
(at least in my case)
