Madhavananda has asked me to keep an eye on things while he is in India. I think he has made the etiquette to be followed by members and guests posting here quite clear.
Unfortunately I do not have the time to moderate all discussions or get involved in debates between the people posting. That is going to have to wait for his return.
However, if I see some discussion going on that is not really in the spirit of this site or that involves unwarranted hostility, I may delete some posts or even entire topics. Insulting other members will not be tolerated.
I humbly request that everyone try to make my job easier by not forcing me to be a policeman/kindergarten teacher. It is simply a matter of behaving like mature adults and with a measure of sensitivity towards others even if they disagree with your religious convictions.

Thanks Ramdas for keeping it civil. Sorry for my lack of participation on the site, I am only now checking my mails for the second time here. I hear there is one person at Radha Kund with pc + internet access, but he is clueless about his login and password since a couple of weeks now (borrowing a friend's dialup account).
I am now hand and feet occupied with getting the upcoming books (Madhurya Kadambini, Raga Vartma Candrika, Siksastakam, Guru Tattva Vijnana, Bhakta Tattva Vijnana) published, but I expect that sometime after purnima there will be more time to write for the website as well.

There have been some complaints by members that certain persons are posting here in an inappropriate manner. For the person or persons that those members are referring to: You know who you are. Please try to show some respect for the spirit of these discussions. Any further posts by you that are not appropriate will be moved by me to a locked and inaccessible folder to be reviewed by Madhavananda for his future action. Be warned - it could result in your being either restricted or banned entirely by him from posting here.
I hope that this policy is acceptable to everyone here. It is the best idea I have right now.
I apologize for not having enough time to moderate all dicussions. I do usually check in a couple times a day to see if there is any activity and try to read as much of the posts as I can. Once Madhavananda returns from India, the order will be restored. Hopefully it does not become too chaotic around here before then.
For those struggling with English as a second language, I recommend first writing your post in some software that has a grammar and spell checker tool. Microsoft Word, for example has such features. Then you can just cut and paste it into the forum posting window provided.
