QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
If you are new to Gaudiya Vaishnavism, or if there's otherwise something puzzling you, this is the forum of choice for your questions. Remember, the only stupid questions are those made with an insincere heart.

Advaitadas, luckily for me, Madhava has a broad heart and mind. Maybe you can learn from his example?

Having joined this forum just two months ago, do you know enough about Madhava and me to be able to judge who can learn from whom, and what?
Your preceding post (# 17) was not an inquiry but a challenge and an assault. And letting it pass is not having a broad heart at all. I wont say what I think it is instead, not wanting to get in trouble (again) with the management for defending the shastras and the acaryas. PM me to find out.......

Advaitadas, based on the tone of your response, it is clear to me that you have a very different temperment than Madhava. Madhava has shown great patience with my line of questioning and has not acted as you said you would, hence my comment. You are free to PM if you want.

You should cease to play off the differences in Advaitadas Ji's approach and the way Madhava is dealing with this thread. No reason for this behaviour except to aggravate people as far as I can tell.

(as surely I am not the first person who has discussed this issue).

How perceptive of you...Why then bring it up again? What was your purpose in doing so? What did you hope to gain?

zrImad bhAgavatam is non-different from kRSNa Himself, the origin and shelter of all. In every single zloka of it, including every syllable, there are many meanings.

Sakhicharan, I am simply giving a reply to Advaitadas. He addressed his comment specifically to me. I gave an answer specifically for him. I had to bring up my point again, because it appears people are misunderstanding my questions. I am simply clarifying.

Gaurasundara, are you saying you have a "fully pure heart"?

This is not a fair question to pose to Gaurasundar Ji...he simply implied that the full import of zrImad bhAgavatam will be best understood by those of pure heart and envy free.

I would feel happy if you would care to address the questions I placed before you... smile.gif

I already answered your questions. I said:

Sakhicharan, pehaps you can give me answers to my questions? Why do you keep intervening between others and myself? "No reason for this behaviour except to aggravate people as far as I can tell". Are you speaking on behalf of Advaitadas and Gaurasundara?

If you do not have answers to my questions, then kindly say so. That would wrap up this thread quickly, with minimal confrontation and hostility. If my questions are not welcome here, then you should say so. Honesty is the best policy.

Thanks.

Thank you Madhava Ji for responding in this way to my objections, and presenting the posts that you removed from that thread. I felt that the thread became very distasteful in the way the authority of Srimad Bhagavatam and Sri Sukadeva were being questioned.
Vishwajeet - Thu, 22 Dec 2005 11:36:22 +0530
Anyway, whatever Advait Dasji is doing is right. As far as I know, even remainig quite when somebody does a Vaishnava aparadha is an offence. And if anyone thinks Sukadeva Gosvami wasn't as respectable as a mahabhagvata then I'm not posting what such people should be considered according to sastras, otherwise some people will again say me "trying fear tactics". biggrin.gif
Advaitadas - Thu, 22 Dec 2005 13:14:51 +0530
Thank you Vishvajeet and Sakhicarana for your support. It makes me wonder why I am still a moderated member and KrishnaPetal isnt? Double standards? I wish I'd had this support back in June 2004. Thank you Madhava, for posting this part of the thread anyway....... wink.gif

Vishwajeet, I did not read anyone saying that Sukadeva Goswami was not a mahabhagavata. You are a new member onboard -- please exercise due caution and consideration while responding. smile.gif

In general, judging others is not a task we should undertake in public. Disagree with views if you will, but do not judge others. If anyone feels like they need to pass a judgement on someone, please first contact the said person in private and clarify the matter to ensure he gets a fair hearing. There is no need for public trials, they lead to aparadha more often than not.
