According to the calendar that I have:
All countries; Punima. Sri Visvarupa Mahotsava.
Third month of Caturmasya begins; Fasting from milk for one month.
Any nectar available ? Is that information updated ?

Some say that Sri Visvarupa Mahotsava is the day when Nimai's brother Visvarupa took sannyasa, and others say this is the day when Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu found out that his brother had departed from this world. There is an older thread discussing the life of Sri Visvarupa and his acceptance of sannyasa.
Today is also Srimad Bhagavata Jayanti, which is the day when the recitation of Srimad Bhagavata by Suka Muni was completed. More on that later, first I wish to post something more about Visvarupa and Nimai. I'll post in the older thread.

I'm afraid the Bhagavata Jayanti katha will have to wait for tomorrow inasmuch as I am concerned. I have a desire to summarize the entire gist of the Bhagavata narrations and siddhanta in one topic. I think it would be nice to do the same with many granthas actually.
But not today. I need to take some rest now. It's been rather hectic lately.
