As a part of the archival endeavor associated with Lake of Flowers Productions, we are looking into preserving the recordings people have made over the decades.
As we are moving on from DVDs to next-generation media (HD-DVD, Blu-ray), VHS tapes and players are becoming increasingly obsolete. There is a need to ensure that material doesn't just disappear into people's closets and rot away as the tapes get old and damaged.
Therefore, I'm calling for everyone to please get in touch with me if they have video materials from Vraja on old VHS tapes. We're available for capturing them into a digital format, cleaning them up and transfering them to high-quality DVDs. We can even reimburse related costs, if sharing the material would otherwise be hard for you. The only catch is that we want to preserve them and offer them freely for download over the internet. If desired, they can also be manufactured into DVDs for sale along with our other productions, and you can have your fair share of whatever profit there may be.

In this vein, I'm also again calling for people who may have old audio tapes they've recorded over the years. I'm currently working on digitizing and cleaning up some of Advaitadas's collection, including entries once posted at raganuga-com that need to be re-worked.
Now that I have proper headphones probably for the first time in my life, the sound of those files begins to sound like a lot more should have been done to them the first time over. (I'm re-capturing from tapes and processing them from a scratch.)

We also have to look into creating an archive of old photos from Vraja. New photos, too - why not? Both are on our roadmap. Some friends here and there have been collecting old shots, they need to be scanned in high resolution and archived. Views from Radha-kunda three or four decades back, such items are badly in need of preservation.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
