What's that warning note? -

Perhaps this could be used here to, to warn people if their tone is inappropriate. They may just take that on board and back off. So it might be less hurtful than various words used in postings to try to warn people if their tone is inappropriate.

That is already there, but we've only kept the feature visible for moderators to not place a public stigma on members. We've had to use it on a couple of occasions, but generally only in cases where breaches of the board rules have been either repeated or extreme. When adding to the warning level, the members get a notification of the same.

I have now set it visible for members, each member can view their own warning level and moderators' notes for why the warnings have been issued. The scale has now been set to a realistic 0 to 5, it used to be 0 to 10, but 10 is cutting too much slack. When the meter hits the ceiling, the member will in all likelihood be permanently banned.

Jagadananda is on record for warning himself, a warning attached with a peculiar note: "Troublemaking. Criticizing the Moderators!" I have now posted a warning for him: "You have received a warning for having filed a false report on one's own activities that would merit warning."

There are currently 10 members who have a warn level higher than 0. Gopidust, if the name rings a bell, leads the statistics with three warnings. Actually, now that I look at the stats, I note that Kshamabuddhi has 2 + 2 from his two different accounts, so he's at 80% or 4/5. We'd like to cordially remind him of the fact that he's currently walking on some very thin ice.

You'll find an explanation a couple posts upwards from here, not?

Your warning status is zero. It means you haven't been warned, ever.

Although I installed almost all Sankrit fonts and it works on other websites at gaudiyadiscussions it always shows like below no Sanskrit text.

On the left side of my posts, at the bottom, there is a warning sign, what does it mean?

It isn't a diacritic font. It's called Harvard-Kyoto encoding.

Reminds me of that old "Lost in Space" TV show where the robot would get all flustered and paranoid and start reapeating ;
Warning, warning! Aliens approaching!

There's a glitch in our warning system. If someone reaches 300% it automatically resets to zero. I'm working on it.
