Nitai's Garden is the study group for Srivas Angan members. We will be working through one book at a time, and delving deep into the subject matter. To further this, here are some simple rules/guidelines for members to help make the study process flow nicely.
1. Please keep posts on the topic at hand.
Each thread within a book's forum will be 'on topic' for the reading assignment. Keeping postings to the topic of the current reading assignment will keep everyone on the same page.
2. Please keep up on the reading assignments.
While everyone is free to participate as much as they can, please refrain from adding to threads that are not in the current week's reading assignment. To further this end, I will post a summary for each book when we start it.
3. Be respectful to other devotees and traditions.
As we read more Traditional Gaudiya works, I can see the temptation for those who have spent significant time in the IGM camps to comment on the difference between the two. Personally, I can see some value in learning of the differences in presentation between the two groups, just please keep it respectful on both sides. I don't want to discourage this kind of comment, just please err on the side of being overly respectful.
Thanks to everyone that wants to participate, and I'm really looking forward to this!
