Talasiga - Sun, 20 Feb 2005 17:34:10 +0530
why is this topic lockedI have not been consulted. I started that topic. There is a member asking me a question. Why have you locked it?
Can it be moved to another forum so the topic can continue? Thanks.
And Madhava can you or any of the linguistic experts here tell me why
Harvard-Kyoto convention for writing
gauDIya like this ignores the fact that the "d" in Gaudiiya is a retroflex flap and not a "d" or "D" at all? Hmmm?
These and other issues can be examined in that topic which you have locked.
Thanks.

Doesn't looked locked to me. Maybe it was locked but now has been ulocked as there will be room for grammar in the new and improved gaudiyadiscussions.

No. What's it about in relation to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and the Goswamis?

Babuloo, I got this message when I tried to post in it:-

What do you get if you try to post in it?

Talasiga every thread in that section is locked and it will remain so for a long time until this board is brought back to its intended focus as a board dealing with authorized explorations into gaudiya, as opposed to challenge-centric topics raising questions that could potentially be disturbing or offensive to some people.

I stand corrected. I noticed the "fast reply" box came up and assumed I had posting ability and this time I went back and typed in "hi" but this friendly greeting got rejected.

It seems to be in the wrong forum. I have now expanded the scope of the references-forum and moved it there.
Unfortunately we cannot consult everyone on every thread that needs to be locked.
If you find a particular decision of the moderators objectionable, please send a PM instead of starting a topic about it.

Maybe Madhava should keep these grammar threads locked. They get heated up awfully fast.
Madhava - Mon, 21 Feb 2005 13:48:22 +0530
The question on H-K has been moved over to the original thread, which is now available.

Thank you for salvaging my topic. I know I thanked you in my first post in anticipation of it. However please accept my double thanks.
I also take you point and apologise for not PMing you. I would be happy for you to delete this topic if the other participants agree.
So anyone who has particpated in this topic - would you kindly indicate whether Madhava may delete this redundant topic?
I hope you don't mind. I hate clutter myself. Best Wishes
