Rupanuga books - GV books on tattva and sidhanta

One thing that I really doesn't understand is: Why aren't any Rupanuga Gaudiya Vaishnava publishing Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu or Hari-Bhakti-Vilasa? Aren't they the most important of books on Gaudiya Vaishnava tattva and siddhanta?

Both of them are rather voluminous texts. BH Bon has published the first part of Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu decades back, and recently David Habermann, in cooperation with Srivatsa Goswami of Radha Raman, has come forth with a good edition of Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu, which should be well digestable for devotees. I am having another go at it right now.

As for Hari-bhakti-vilasa, it is not really a book on tattva and siddhanta as such, though philosophical topics are addressed on occasion. The text is mainly concerned with elaborate descriptions of various rituals and observances that are not observed all that often in such detail, and are often summarized in various archan-paddhatis in a more easily digestable format. Also, the text does not discuss the worship of Radha-Krishna in the mood of Vraja. Hence it has not been a primary objective for many to get it published.

In general, it seems that translations are easy to come by, but high quality translations are few and far between. Right now I am cringing my teeth over the Radha-Krishna-Ganoddesha-Dipika put out by Bhumipati, a bit dismayed over the extent of additions and oddities therein, aside the sloppy editing. Certainly somewhat of an improvement on Kusakratha's edition, which if memory serves said that Lalita-sakhi is 27 years old, but a long way from a definitive edition.
