As I mentioned in an earlier entry, he had some interesting ideas with regards to tangible methods for the development of our siddha-deha to gain entrance into the realm of the lila. Much of the content for the realm of smarana is out there, but the methodology is not all that thoroughly documented. We plan to remedy the situation, to an extent anyway, preparing manuals that will help the Western mind in particular to get a better grasp of our inner identity, much as it is different from its Bengali counterpart. So our projects also deal with matters of bhajana, we aren't just busy running around.

This is very good news to hear indeed biggrin.gif . This is the nectar I`m searching after rolleyes.gif .

Any books out there that at least hint on the methodology at present?

I don't think there are any that are all that well done in English. Of course the source material is there in Sanskrit & Bengali. Also, this is in the context of having taken diksha and gotten siddha pranali from your guru. It would be of little use to anyone that has not received this mercy. Aspirants (like me) would find inspiration, but the practice of this must be done when one is qualified....

I'm real interested in this, because the hints of Yugal's practice that have been dropped here & there really make one curious... biggrin.gif

There is of course the Manjari-svarupa-nirupana of Sri Kunjabihari Das Babaji Maharaja out there, Jagat is editing his translation with hopes of having it out sometime during the first or second quarter of 2005.

Aside that, there is the Gutika of Siddha Krishna Das Baba of Govardhan, and some other similar works. However none of them go into the specific techniques of smarana, which I believe are something people have been more or less figuring (or not figuring) out on their own. So we are trying to put together some helpful content in this regard. tasmAt kenApy upayena...

Good news. Am I correct that this is only available in partial form in English at present?

Well, a draft of it is available somewhere, photocopied and passed around. Otherwise, only the first chapter is available at Raganuga.Com, and some excerpts here and there in the forums. However they are all from the same source, Jagadananda's work.

Dandavats. All glories to the Vaisnavas.

I have a draft copy of MSN. If Jagat is okay with the idea I could send out. MSN has been a traveling companion of mine for the last 8 months and I have poured through it three times over. Very interesting and enlightening work. I am very excited for it to see the light of day.

I don't have any objection, but I'd rather see a nice pakka edition with a few illustrations, to warm the cockles of all the manjari bhava sadhakas.

I am glad you like it so much, Rasarajaji.

Dandavats. All glories to the Vainsavas.

It is a fabulous book! I did a little work to align the Table of Contents and added a quick cover. Can't wait to take a look at the finished edition and to work on this release.

Thanks. The table of contents is not exactly the same as the contents. Those indexes at the end need to be finished up and the page numbers corrected. But it's nice that you made it available.
