bhakta premAra yata dasA ye gati prakAra/
yata dukha yata sukha yateka vikAra//
krsna tAhA samyak nA pAre jAnite/
bhakta bhAva angikare tAhA AsvAdite//
The various states and dispositions of the bhakta's prema, their ways and manners, their sorrows and their joys and the transformations of ecstacy; Krsna was unable to fully comprehend it, so he assumed the bhakta-bhAva to taste it.
