Volunteer work - Transcribing lectures - by Sri Ananta Das Babaji Maharaja

Madhava - Tue, 16 Nov 2004 00:23:55 +0530
There are already a good deal of lectures by Sri Ananta Das Babaji translated, and some more are on their way as Yugal gets his new site up and running. Aside having the audio available, it would be great to have transcripts of the lectures made.

If someone has a bit of spare time at their disposal, it would be great if you could type in translations of lectures. A decent knowledge of English is welcome and necessary, but you wouldn't need to know any Bengali.

If someone wants to participate but doesn't have broadband to download audio files as mp3:s, we can send you CDs.

Please PM me or post in this thread if you are interested.

There is even a lecture from Diwali a few days back, which I think should be first.

A couple of people have PMd me already, we now have four volunteers lined up.

We need to do this in a coordinated fashion to not duplicate efforts. First I need to put together a database of all available lectures. I will write to Yugal and ask him for his catalogue. I believe I have most of Advaita's translations already available at Raganuga.Com.

All of these lectures will also be made available for download as mp3:s.
