Content: "Shringara Sankeertana" (Romantic Song)
Background: The heroine "Alamelumanga" (the consort of Lord Venkateshwara, The Presiding Deity at Tirumala) is coming out of the bedroom after spending a night in courtship with the Lord. Her friends are cajoling "Alamelumanga", observing the traces and marks of Her courtship with the Lord.
Meaning:
One Friend:Why Her lips that are as tender as the sprout are bearing the marks of kasturi ?
Another Friend: Isn't it that the Lady would have written a letter to Him with Her lips!
Stanza I:
One Friend: Her eyes that look like "Chakora" (a bird with whom the eyes of a beautiful lady are compared in Indian poetry) are like rubies. Friends! Can you guess the reason for this beauty?
Another Friend:She planted the arrows of Her looks on Her Lord and withdrew them all of a sudden. Hence the tips of Her arrow-like looks bear the touch of blood. Therefore Her eyes become red. Isn't it?
Stanza II:
One Friend:Her "Payyeda" (part of saree that covers the chest) bears the marks of the brilliant glow of her beautiful breasts. How could it be?
Another Friend:In an amorous excitement, Her Lord could have pressed Her breasts making the marks of His nails that appear in the shape of the crescent moon. Is it not like the shining of the moonlight!
Stanza III:
One Friend:There are drops of pearls on Her pretty cheeks. Can you guess the reason?
Another Friend:Smart One, "Venkatapathi". Sweating with the ecstasy of love for Her, could have the have kissed Her lotus like face. These could be the beauty of His sweat drops. Isn't it?

Content: The Saint advocates devotion as the means to receive His grace and gives an indirect message that God takes only devotion into account and not the caste and creed.
Background : In this song, Annamayya quotes devotees from different castes, whereon The low granted His at Grace. By quietly so, Annamayya says an indirect message that the Lord doesn't discriminate between the castes & creeds. He takes only devotion into account and graces a devotee accordingly.
Sri Atri Maharshi declared in Smriti Sastras:

vedapAThI bhaved vipraH
brahma jAnAti brAhmaNaH
Meaning of the Song:
Pallavi: He is "Konetiraya" (The king of lake that is by the side of Tirumala Temple), who resides on the mountains. He grants wishes limitlessly.
I Stanza: He is the One who granted whatever "Kuruvarati nambi", the pot maker had asked for. He granted boons to the emperor Tondaman, the greatest devotee - whenever he sought His help.
II Stanza: With true pleasure, He carried the mud without any remuneration for Anantaluvar (Lord Venkateshwara comes in the guise of a small kid and helps Anantaluvar while digging a well - for watering the plants in the garden raised for the sacred service of the Lord, - by carrying the dug mud). He is the Beloved One to "Tirumalanambi" who always desired to chat with him.
III Stanza: He is the one who graced "Tirukatchinambi" though he was in "Kanchi" (a popular shrine in Madras) where Varadaraja (another form of Vishnu. Vishnu is the prime form of God who is involved in protecting the good and destroying the evil). Lord Venkateshwara always showers His mercy on us if we serve Him with 'bhakti'.
