This website is a cheat? That's pretty neat!
Who here's the culprit who must take the heat?
So go ahead, sell books out on the street--
That's where the shastra tells us we shall meet
a rasika guru at whose lotus feet
bhakta bees taste the raga honey treat.

O friend, if you should find it anywhere,
that heart absorbed in Krishna rasa so rare,
be quick to buy, how much the soulís in need!
In that bazaar is posted just one price;
millions of pious works will not suffice,
the cost is to be paid in coins of greed.

O Great Fish!
My sakhi baited the hook of her heart
with the delicacy of love just to catch you,
casting it into the nectarean waters.
Not only did you swallow up
both bait and hook,
but you broke the string of her reason--
Alas, what can the poor girl do now?

Came back from japa with this:
You should have asked your GBC
before you came and talked to me.
Then youíd have known Iím dangerous--
you know--the Sanskrit knowledge curse.
And then I went and made things worse
by giving answers just in verse.
So now you think, ďThatís aparadh.
He thinks heís better than Prabhupad.Ē
Itís silly just to write in rhyme.
Sorry, promise I wonít next time.
But you be good, do what youíre told,
and stay away to save your soul.
Thatís good advice: just stay away
from asat-sang like us, and pray
to Radha, then youíll be O.K.
But I think it may be too late,
the horse is gone, why lock the gate?
The fish has swum off with your bait.

Whoops, hereís one more, could not resist,
another shlok that canít be missed.
Last one, I really really do promise.
(This is for Dennis, too.)

"There's no fear on the Raganuga Trail,
Run full speed ahead, you shall not derail.
You will not stumble, nor fall in flight,
not even with your eyes closed tight.Ē

Today @ IRC:
Devotee (1): Jagat is in a poetic mood!
Devotee (2): Seriously, I feel like I am stuck in a musical...

I need a break. The curtain's coming down...
I also feel as though I have been eating too many gulabjamons.

An end, shall we call?
Let oddness thus fall,
The angelic dust
our honey locust
hop ye on...
and blemish and grate
yet not here.
The sanctum of peers,
Thus act as is wise:
sans any decries,
