I am out of USA by Sept., so cann't attend either
though I like Meera very
passionately .
But I am going to attend another classical dance ballet in my hometown, Florida on August 8th, 2004 , performed by the same Viji Prakash group.

Association of Performing Arts of India Presents-
SHAKTI DANCE COMPANY
AMATURO THEATER
The story of Meera, India's beloved saint poetess, has been preserved in her own songs of which some 400 have been sung and passes on to us through the centuries.
Meer's story is the story of steadfast faith and uncompormising devotion to Lord Krishna. In her total surrender to her beloved Lord Krishna, Meera transcended the temporal and merged with him.
This dance musical of Krishna Bhakti, will dramatize the story of the Rajput Princess, through her own musical compositions. These poignant yearnings of a devotee will resonate with the soulful singing of brilliant vocalist Lakshmi Shankar and the visual enactment by the superb dancers Viji Prakash, Mythili Prakash
& Ajit Bhaskaran Das.
An ensemble of 20 dancers and musicians of the well know Shakti Dance Company, Los Angeles, who have thrilled audiences in Ft Lauderdale with their earlier Spectaculars, Bhagavad-Gita (2003), Prince to Buddha, a journey of enlightenment (2004), will also be apart of this exciting production.
The haunting music, the brilliant acting and dancing, spectacular costumes and sets
will transport audiences.
Tickets for 'Sant Meera' are on sale now for the program on-
Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 7:00 P.M.
