Some of these Sadhus walk on foot thru India, and have Puri Ratha Yatra on the schedule of their tour.

This one is a resident of Swarga Dwar, the cremation ground down at the beach, where he does his sadhana of meditation, especially at night, worshiping Siva and Kali to get power to attain liberation. He speaks English well and invited me to come one night to observe his practice. I had already other plans for that night.

possibly a South Indian vaishnava. The Rudraksha beads point to Shaivaite. Red color is used by South Indian vaishnavas.
