I believe you would need Real Player. At the time (1999) the project called for this format to be used for whatever reason

Perhaps. What is FLASH? Is it a standard MS application or something that must/can be downloaded from some site (for free if possible)?

OK Brian I found the Realtime player and installed it. But is it just a trial download which will disfunction after 2 weeks or so?
