nadIyAra ghATe bhAi ki adbhuta tarI
nitAi galuiyA tAte caitanya kANDArI
Oh brothers! At the Nadiya ghat is a wonderful ferryboat. At the bow stands Nitai, and Caitanya is the captain.
dui raghunAtha zrI-jIva gopAla zrI-rUpa sanAtana
pArera naukAya erA dANDi chaya jana
The two Raghunathas, Sri Jiva, Sri Gopala, Sri Rupa, and Sri Sanatana, are the six oarsmen in that boat.
ke jAbi bhAi bhava-pAre nitAi DAke
kheyAra kaDi vinA pAra kare jAke tAke
Nitai loudly calls, "Oh my brothers! Who amongst you will cross the ocean of birth and death? Without paying even a single paisa, one and all may cross to the other shore.
Atare kAtara vinA ke pAra kare bhAi
kintu pAra kare sabhe caitanya nitAi
Since one does not have to take any trouble to pay the boat fare, who will not cross the ocean? Caitanya and Nitai will take everyone across.
kRSNa-dAsa bale bhAi bala hari hari
nitAi caitanyera ghATe nAhi lAge kaDi
Krsna-dasa says, "Oh brothers! Please chant 'Hari Hari!' At the ghat of Nitai and Caitanya, no payment is required."
