I think that this can definitely change according to mood. I did it a couple of years ago and got a very high Liberal Quaker score (I was feeling that I should do something about human misery, I think). I don't understand how I got such a high Hindu score, because many of the answers could have been Christian. Hindu probably allows for the most variation in choice. But look how far down the scale RC is, and everyone knows by now how RC I am!

I agree with Jagat that the results can be variable according to mood. I took the quiz recently a few times and got different results according to the changes in my answers to questions about which I don't have strong convictions, or which have apparently ambiguious options or more than one applicable option.
Some time before that, I took the quiz three ways, as follow here.
Answering according to my former Methodist beliefs, I got the following result:
Mainline to Liberal Protestant (score=100)
Liberal Quaker (score=97)
Unitarian Universalist (score=92)
Orthodox Quaker (score=86)
Mainline to Conservative Protestant (score=74)
Baháí (score=70)

Couple of thoughts:
1) Many people so forth have relatively high scores for Orthodox Judaism. I had a strong conviction that Orthodox Judaism has more similarities with Hinduism, than any Christian confession... This test is one more proof for it. Nevertheless from my observations, most Jews have very negative attitude toward Hinduism. Don't know, why is this...
2) As a person with Eastern Orthodox background, I awaited much higher score for it. Probably, the influense was not so strong, as I thought before...

I was wondering why I scored lower in Buddhism...I think it may have been #18. "
Nonviolence (e.g., pacifism, conscientious objector) should be fundamental"....I disagreed with that... I was thinking that there are wars fought for good reasons, like in the Mahabharat, and therefore shouldn't discourage this? I don't know if that makes any sense?

I did this a long time ago and don't have my list of results, but Unitarian Universalism was in my top 3 (with paganism) and that's what made me check them out and go to their local church. I really like them and have considered joining. I just posted the link to another thread for their faq.

Which points to the subjective nature of insight. (I have read somewhere of an experiment where people were shown a number of photos of other people's faces and were asked to rate them for beauty. The result was consistently that we find beautiful those who are similar to us...

But thank you for the compliment, Elpis. I could say the same about you and your thoughtful postings.

No, certainly not -- all your immersion in the old palm leaf manuscripts notwithstanding. But somehow or other, I scored 15% on Hinduism, while you scored only 7%! So I wondered what it is I do/believe that you do not. Hmmm... But it may be simply a matter how how high we rated the relevance of some particular question.

The subjective nature of insight--an interesting topic indeed! It is only natural that we find more insight in those we identify with (I, for one, have never claimed to be beyond this), but in your case, an objective case for insightfulness can surely be made

It is true that what I do at present is directly linked to my previous beliefs. I embarked on that path with a view to make a contribution to the
gauDIya tradition, but ended up with the opposite conclusion of what I sought to arrive at. I may work with manuscripts on a daily basis, but my interest is only academic.
I am not sure why you scored higher than me on Hinduism... Perhaps, as you say, it is a question about how we rated the relevance of each question.
Sincerely,
Elpis

I'm sure I could make a fine neo-pagan out of you! Radha-Krsna lila will fit in just fine.
And I read the Buddhists, too, so that's no conflict. Lots of pagans appreciate them.

Strange as it may seem, if I were to convert to a non-indo religion it would be Roman Catholicism.

The subjective nature of insight--an interesting topic indeed! It is only natural that we find more insight in those we identify with...
Naturally, the ideas and answers found by others appeal to only as far as we have been asking the same questions and sensing similar patterns.

Thank you for your kind words. I have pretty much left the building, though. Moving on has been long overdue in my case.
I know the feeling
But I, unlike gopidust, meant by "the building" not the institution but the community. Unitarian Universalists and Secular Humanists (not to mention Nontheists) are not the only ones who can benefit from your thoughtful texts. If there is such a thing as objective insightfulness, then there must also exist an objective value in exchange, even among the unlike-minded. Kim punaH if they, at one time, boarded the same boat.
