PM Inbox Space Requirements - Do you need more space?
Madhava - Mon, 12 Apr 2004 04:13:02 +0530
I was wondering, do you people need more space for your PM inboxes here? How full are they? How much do you use the PM facility, anyway?

Using it more and more.

Some people have asked for more space, so I have now changed the PM quota from 200 to 500 messages.
As I look at the PM statistics, the function really seems to be popular. For example, yesterday 78 PMs were sent!

I reset the poll, let's have a new look at this. Full members' current limit is 3000, others have 500. I'm now particularly asking if full members are coming close to their quotas. I seem to be at 86% at the moment.

A note in regards to pending PMs to some of our members from me:
After the incident that ended up having two fingers wrapped up last week as I was building a screen for our altar, I've been a bit bogged down with my communications. I apologize for this, and will try to catch up as soon as possible.

I wish to tell you of a wondrous sight. I do not have a single PM in my inbox! The last time this happened was when the forums were started and I was the first member.
In other words, if there is a PM from you I haven't replied to yet, it has most likely sunk somewhere into the ocean of bhakti-rasa, and you may need to resend it to me (see your Sent-folder).
Please note that this does not apply to my e-mail inbox, which is the next project in line. Thank you very much.
