Statistics / Buy Your Ticket To Heaven - Sponsor the various Gaudiya websites

Madhava - Fri, 09 Jan 2004 21:15:16 +0530
If someone is enthusiastic to sponsor the hosting and development of various websites hosted on our server, now's a chance as good as any to contribute.

Some of the sites are:

http://www.gaudiyadiscussions.com/ (ca. 450 visits per day)
http://www.gaudiya.com/ (ca. 70 visits per day)
http://www.granthamandira.org/ (ca. 130 visits per day, 170.000 texts downloaded since the beginning.)
http://www.krishnacaitanya.com/ (ca. 30 visits per day)
http://www.raganuga.com/ & http://www.raganuga.org/ (over 300 visits per day)

Some budding projects:

http://www.gaudiyatimes.com/
http://www.opensourcescriptures.com/

The best way to contribute is with PayPal. All donations, no matter how small or great, are appreciated and encouraging.

Please note that currently we cannot receive direct credit card payments, only account-to-account transfers or transfers from your bank account. Therefore, if at all possible, please first add funds to your own account (My Account > Add Funds), and then transfer them to us. Otherwise, please PM me for the address of a friend of mine to whose account you can pay by credit card, and who will transfer them over to me.

Thank you very much!

Thanks, I appreciate this very much. I just had to get some more space and bandwidth as our needs grow, and I need to pay all that via PayPal. Since I live in Finland, I can't do a bank transfer to my PayPal account, and since I don't have a credit card (it's a pain getting one here), I also can't add funds to my account that way. Therefore I pretty much depend on receiving payments from people to fill up my PayPal account, and if I dont' have any business going on, I need to start making rather awkward arrangements to add up funds there. That's why even small amounts now and then help me handle the monthly website costs.

You can get C1.3/512MB w/ 60GB space and 1000GB BW from EV1, which has a great reputation and is among the biggest in the industry. You can choose the CP from cPanel, Ensim (/Pro) or Plesk.

However, I'm not quite ready to go dedicated yet. We don't need that much resources. At the moment, 3GB / 20GB is enough. Of course, if you have great ideas on consuming all that space and BW, do post in your ideas here.
