There was some discussion about what should be on internet and what shouldn't. I suppose he decided to take it down wholesale.

I see Yugal took down his own personal sites as well. Everything ok?

Dandavats. All glories to the Vaisnavas.

That is a real shame as I really liked that site. Wow... hopefully it will be back in some form...

If Yugal wants to take his sites down, it wouldn't be appropriate of me to set up mirrors in a place he can't access, would it?

It's not an issue with cost, server space or anything like that.

Well of course we would not put up a mirror he cant admin to..lol
I just hate to see it all gone, he had some nice stuff up there. I dont see how his own site would be effected with whatever is going on.

I suppose Yugal didn't want to start figuring out what's good for internet and what's not, so he just dumped it wholesale.

Perhaps it would be good if Baba heard of people's appreciation on things going on in the internet, how they are helpful and all of that. He really has no access to internet himself at Radha Kund. In fact, I doubt he's ever used internet even.

Some people have an anti-broadcast, anti-everything mood. There should be nothing, and nobody should do anything but sit down and be grumpy (and do some bhajan every other day). If it's only the negative voices that echo, naturally people with no access to internet will eventually begin to see it as problematic.

In my letter to Baba I mentioned my appreciation for the service that Madhavananda and Yugala are doing with their respective sites. I agree that there may be some material that should only be seen by those initaited into Bab's line.. maybe that material can require a secondary password to access?

Anyjow, i am waiting eagerly for Baba's reply and am almost done with a second letter.
