Dreams of Krishna - I want to dream about krishna!

-Confused Neophyte- - Fri, 26 Sep 2003 08:46:11 +0530
blush.gif Hi , I like krishna and I think if you are here, you do too probably more than me... so I have to ask you in the most 'normal' way possible.

Do you get dreams about krishna?

Quite honestly , I want to get dreams about him, but fail to do so, if you do can you share? I would love to hear about your dreams of krishna if it is not too much trouble.

If you think why I ask this, well the the reason would be that I would feel inspired by your subconsciously and will hopefully get dreams about krishna. rolleyes.gif

Even if you deny it, you are probably a much higher devotee than me, so please share your dreams here smile.gif thanks.

I don't think anyone here can claim to have seen Krishna personally in their dreams (please correct me if I'm wrong! smile.gif ) but I frequently dream of going to the temple and seeing the arca-vigraha. I guess that is 'seeing' Krishna in some way. Sometimes He dances in kirtana.

I suppose all those answered questions in the other threads add up to nothing. People here respond as time permits, and they do it voluntarily. We are not at work here.

As for the dreams, "apana bhajana katha na kohibo yatha tatha." Do not discuss your bhajan here and there. Whatever revelations or dreams the sadhaka has, he hides deep within his heart and cherishes as his greatest treasure. Rakho prema hridaye koribe. Sharing them out in the open will cause them to vanish from the heart.

Dreams reflect your daily thoughts. Keep your thoughts daily on Krishna and you'll dream of Him, too.

Thanks for your replies, actually when I got dissappointed... I wrote it one day and checked the next day.

There was no reply so I thought no one replied because I asked a wrong question... still I wrote such a reply .

Well, thank you , I won't ask such questions, but my attempt was to contemplate on those dreams so that I can have them too.

Thanks again for your answer dear madhav smile.gif

Well, on the other hand, a non-vision cannot vanish!

I wouldn't treat seeing an arca-vigraha in a temple as we always do as out-of-the-ordinary, though it is of course spiritually significant. What the passage above refers to is incidents which involve a significant personal interaction with Radha and/or Krishna. Now, of course this can be so with a vigraha, too.

yathA tathA means carelessly. Amongst intimate friends, such things can be discussed.

The main problem is ahankar. People who go around claiming to have seen Krishna are likely just looking for pratishtha.
