Symptom of Love - Emotions are known as symptoms of love

Nandai - Thu, 04 Sep 2003 15:09:36 +0530
Jay Radhe!

There is a symptom of love named pulaka (standing of hairs on end) I cannot find a pastime/s of Radha or Krishna, where that symptom is mencioned.

As a matter of fact, there is 7 more of those symptoms; kampa (trembeling), ashru(weeping), sveda (perspiring), vaivamya (fading away of color), stambha(being stunned), svara-bheda (choking) and pralaya (devastation). A pastime on any symptom would be appreciated.

Thank you,

"Smelling His beloved's pure bodily fragrance, which eclipsed the smell of lotus flowers smeared with vermillion, suddenly inundating the nearby forest like the ambrosial waves of the Ganga, Krishna began to shiver of ecstasy and He wanted to jump up to Her like a bee."

I'll look into the rest later on today.

Of course there are examples of each sattvika-bhava in Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu itself, in the third wave of daksina-vibhaga. Would that be all right?

Now that I am looking into it, many of the examples given are not of Radha-Krishna lila. I'll get back to this.
