Miracle Oxygen - Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide

jatayu - Mon, 26 Sep 2005 12:54:22 +0530
Dear readers, someone has experience about what is said in article below?
"The author shows you many personal and household uses for Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, and gives you amazing facts about Oxygen (O2), Ozone (O3), and Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) most of us are not even aware of."
What's actually "Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide"? unsure.gif

THE UNMEDICAL
MIRACLE OXYGEN
By Elizabeth Baker

.....Oxygen comprises about 20% of today’s atmosphere. Yet air samples taken from ancient ice indicate there was significantly more Oxygen in our atmosphere just a few thousand years ago — as high as 30%! Is that why the biblical patriarchs lived more than 900 years? Where sufficient Oxygen is present, disease cannot live! Two-time Nobel Prize for Medicine winner Otto Warburg stated this in 1966: "Where cells get enough Oxygen, cancer will not, cannot occur."........

While true that the percent of oxygen has lowered over time (bubbles in amber indicate ~ 35% oxygen from 65 million years ago), there's little evidence that it has been higher in the time humans have been inhabiting the globe. In fact, our hemoglobin regularly saturates to approx. 97 - 98%, indicating that taking 'extra oxygen' does little to improve oxygen to one's cells, etc. This is a common criticism of so-called 'oxygen bars'; they just do nothing for their clients.

Umm, its an interesting assumption that the biblical partiarchs lived for 900 years... and that the oxygen level would have lowered that quickly! Biblical estimates put the age of the earth at around 6,000 years (tho I've seen it as 'high' as 10,000 years). rolleyes.gif

BTW, the implication that oxygen cures cancer is.. well.. reprehensible.

as an analytical chemist I have my doubts about how accurate are these claims of higher oxygen levels in previous ages - there are far too many variables, such as higher nitrogen diffusion rate (smaller molecule than oxygen) into surrounding media.

if you know about the danger of free radicals, you should also know that hydrogen peroxide breaks down to form free radical oxygen and cause oxidation in general.

see http://www.accessexcellence.org/LC/ST/bgfreerad.html for some info on oxygen free radicals and their role in acceleration of the aging process.

maybe there was more oxygen in previous ages, but I bet they had different bodies back then too.

Found this cute little graphic...

When googling on "Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide", I found this interesting
website, http://www.healingdaily.com/conditions/cancer-and-oxygen.htm

QUOTE
Deprive a cell 60% of its oxygen and it will turn cancerous. - " O2Xygen Therapies: A New Way of Approaching Disease " by McCabe, page 192. Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous. - Dr. Otto Warburg.

"........Mix a few drops of 35% H2O2 into a glass of water. Take on an empty stomach (otherwise the oxygen will react with the food in your stomach), one hour before a meal or at least 3 hours after a meal.

Start with one drop of hydrogen peroxide 3 times per day. On the second day, increase to 2 drops 3 times per day. On the third day, increase to 3 drops 3 times per day. Increase in this manner each day until you reach 25 drops 3 times per day or your confort limit. If your stomach gets upset at any level, go back one level. Hydrogen peroxide has an obnoxious taste and few people reach 25 drops.

When rid of your health problems, taper off by reducing your daily dosage. A good maintenance dose is a total of 1 - 2 drops per day.."

Quackwatch:

QUOTE
Summary and Conclusion

Oxygenation therapists proposed that disease is caused by absence of oxygen and loss of cellular ability to use oxygen for "good energy" metabolism, detoxification, and immune system function. Oxygen therapies are proposed in order to restore the body's ability to produce "good" energy, to "detoxify" metabolic poisons, and to kill invading organisms. However, over the five decades that have passed since this concept was proposed, scientists have shown that:

  1. Anerobic energy metabolism (fermentation) is not the cause of cancer.
  2. Koch's glyoxylide does not exist.
  3. Ingestion, infusion, or injection of hydrogen peroxide cannot re-oxygenate the tissues of the body.
  4. Ozone-treated blood infused during autohemotherapy does not kill AIDS virus in vivo.

If you are aware of scientific studies to the contrary, I'd be interested in seeing them. What they actually said there seems accurate:

QUOTE
Geoffrey Cowley, one of Newsweek's reporters, refers to acupuncture as credible. But reviews of clinical studies of acupuncture do not support claims that acupuncture is effective for a wide variety of conditions. Beneficial effects have been reported for some types of acupuncture in treating symptoms  such as pain and nausea. However, these effects may result from distraction, expectation, suggestion, conditioning, and characteristics of the client-practitioner relationship rather than anything special about acupuncture. Acupuncture has not been proven to alter the course of any disease. [Italics in original]

You're right, seems Krishna is the only and best medical specialists!
Just remembered how an Indian teacher in the sixtieth fleed from a hospital in NY because he considered it a too dangerous place. Again thanks for taking the time rolleyes.gif

Yes.  The "Quackbuster Conspiracy" was started shortly after the American Medical Association (AMA) lost the court battle to the Chiropractors in a case begun in Federal court in 1976.  The Federal judge ordered the AMA's covert operation shut down - and leave the Chiropractors alone. The AMA files, library, etc., ended up in Stephen Barrett's 1,800 square foot basement in Allentown, PA.  Barrett, and his minions, had the common sense to stay away from criticizing Chiropractors for quite some time.  Barrett, owner of,  http://www.quackwatch.org ,  has since abandoned that common sense. Stephen Barrett&co are acting in the interests of, and are being paid, directly and indirectly, by the "conventional" medical-industrial complex.

....Look at propagandist, and "Quackbuster" king-pin, Stephen Barrett's website (quackwatch.com), and you'll find that HE IS IN FAVOR of mercury (amalgam) tooth fillings..........
