May Sri Krsna samkirtan be preminently glorified;
it polishes the dust laden looking glass of the mind;
extinguishes the wild fire of transmigratory existance;
sheds friendly moon beams on the lily of eternal good;
it is the very life and vitality of goddess wisdom;
it swells the ocean of bliss, breaching all bounds,
and affords an ever augmenting relish at every step
for condenced ambrosia, and thoroughly bathes
the entire self, removing the dirt of all base alloy.
Just came accross Sripad Sankaracarya's tika on Visnu Sahasranama sloka 114, in exlpanation of lakSmIh there he quotes the sruti, AtmavidyA ca devi tvAm,
" O Devi! you are Atmavidya."
