Is there a phul stuti (I think it's called that)? Concluding shlokas where the result of chanting the ashtakam is explained.

Has anyone done an english translation for it?

Well, I have lots of resources pulled together. This one is from GVS's Gaudiya Giti Guccha. There isn't a phalastuti there, perhaps there's one somewhere.

Actually it's also in Dasarath Suta's More Songs of the Vaishnava Acharyas. I hear GVS took some of the songs and translations from him for their English edition. Attached, with word-for-word translation.

As for making resources available, more on that in a post on an upcoming project that is certainly of interest to you in particular - in a moment.

Is this the Dasaratha Suta Das translation? I e-mailed him recently asking for permission to use his word-for-word (properly credited of course) for Radhakripakataksha stava raja in a privately distributed songbook to be given as dakshina to the hardcore english kirtaniyas at next years (4 day) nam jagya but got no reply as yet.

I'm very careful that I don't pinch any translations and do try to get permission from the authors cos I know how much work goes into them.

My Baba/Dadaji/Sri Raman Bihari Das Babaji suggested I get a copy of Vaishnava Padavali by Hare Krishna Mukhopadyay which he thought was pretty comprehensive. I rather cheekily asked him whether he'd get it for me and post it to me but I don't really want to bother him with such mundane tasks! Any idea where I could get this book mail order from India?

Another friend also suggested that gauPiyA vaiSNav abhidAn by hari dAs dAs would be a good purchase for its collection of unusual and old fashioned words.

I have a question. Is "phala stuti" the same as "phala sruti." If not, what is the difference?

you're probably right, I'm probably wrong!

I believe both are valid. According to Monier-Williams, one of the meanings of the word zruti is "promise". The last stanza is the zruti (promise) of the phala (fruit) of the stuti (hymn). Of course, there is nothing wrong in also calling it phala-stuti, or the stuti (eulogy) of the fruit of the hymn.
