Caitanya-vRkSa - (Transcendental Tree)

Advitiya - Thu, 28 Jul 2005 19:33:05 +0530
This is one of my humble efforts. Please do not judge from artistic point of view.

Ten years ago, as I was reading these payAr -s about how Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu took the role of mAlAkAr and how this Caitanya Movement spreaded with unlimited branches and so on through mAlAkAr-dharma, I was inspired to give a visual form of this Caitanya-vRkSa. It is impossible to capture the whole thing in one picture. But if any one of you is interested to extend it, please, go ahead. smile.gif

You may have to resize the picture.

Thank you so much, Madhava!

Finally, this Transcendental Caitanya Tree has decided to be revealed on the internet! smile.gif

Most of the names are not readable at all. Can we do something?

I was thinking the same..can it be made zoomable?

This is the highest resolution we have. I've zipped it to prevent the server from resizing it.

You can zoom in on that and see a few more names...but still difficult.

Who made this anyway?

Advitiya ji can try to scan it with higher resolution and save it in GIF format. GIF has limited palette (which is not problem with this picture - it has naturally limited palette), but don't blurr lines. And it has less volume, so the file with the same size (~ 0.5 Mb) should be much bigger in length and height.

Dear Advitiya ji, if you don't have a programm, that can save or convert pictures into GIF, then send big scan in BMP or TIFF format to me by e-mail, and I will convert it into GIF and will post it here.

She unfortunately doesn't have a scanner.
