Namaste all.

As I recall many sublime verses from 'Sri Rama Carita Maanas'-
of Sant Sri Tulasidas melodiously recited by Jagadguru
Sri Kripaluji Maharaj in his worldwide discourses, here are a few of my favorites:
QUOTE

I have told you the most sacred story of Sri Rama,
by hearing of which one is freed from the bonds of
birth and death and there springs up devotion to
the lotus feet of the all-merciful Ramacandra,
the wish-yielding celestial tree
to the suppliant.

Those who listen to this Lila narration with mindful ear
are absolved of all sins of thought and word as well as deed.

Pilgrimages to shrines, and other means of self-purification,
meditation, detachment, perfection in wisdom, the various works
of religious merit, vows and charity, self-denial and self-control,
counting prayers on beads, penance and manifold sacrifices,
compassion shown to all living beings, service to priests and
elders, knowledge of scriptures and modesty as well as sound
judgement,

in short, all the sadhanas (expedients) that Vedas have prescribed,
O Bhavaani, have but one reward (Fruit), that is Devotion to Sri Hari!

But to that pure devotion to Lord Raghunatha which the scriptures
describe scarce any has attained and then only by the Grace of Rama.

Although such pure devotion to Hari is scarce attainable even by
sages, it can be effortlessly won by those who continually listen
to these exploits of the Lord and put their trust in them.

He is the man of infinite knowledge accomplishment and wisdom,
he is the ornament of the world, learned and munificient, and
he is the pure pious devotee and saviour of his family,
whose heart
and mind is utterly devoted to the lotus feet of Lord Ramacandra.

Aspirants, adepts, those already liberated,
anchorites, mystic bards, scholors, seers of
the results of perfectly performed karma (duty),
and wandering mendicants, ascetics, valiant heroes,
great penitents, wise men, ritualistic worshippers.
religious scholors, and men with subtle knowledge,

None of these can be saved unless they selflessly
Love and Serve my Master, Lord Ramacandra, before
Whom
I bow myself again and again and yet again!

The imperishable Lord I adore, by taking refuge with Whom
even such confirmed reprobates as myself are chastened!

This beautiful stotra is the only Sanskrit composition of Tulasidas.

Not true.
Sant Tulasi das had composed the eight-versed
Rudrashtakam. Devotees can enjoy reading it
in the Uttara Kanda of Sri Rama Carita Manas.

Another Sanskrit verse glorifying Lord Shiva
by Sant Tulasidas

I prostrate to Lord Shiva along with His consort Bhavani,
Who ever reside in the lotus of my heart.
He has a very fair,
cool complexion like that of camphor, He is verily
an embodiment of extreme compassion,
the Essence of this world, and even the deadly snakes love Him
so much that they cling to His body as though they were His necklace.
