cintayAmi harimeva santatam
mandahAsa muditAnanAmbujam/
nandagopatanaya parAt paraM
nAradAdi munivRnda vanditam//
I always dwell upon Sri Hari's gentle smile
that blooms on his charmingly delightful lotus-face;
I contemplate him, the son of cowherd Nanda,
the supreme absolute, whom Narada and the hosts of sages
glorify in vibrant hymns of praise. 10
sarasijanayane sazankhacakre
murabhidi mA viramasva citta rantum/
sukhataramaparaM na jAtu jAne
haricaraNasmaraNAmRtena tulyam//
O mind! never desist from taking utmost felicity
in the lotus-eyed Krsna, who, bearing the conch and the discus,
slew the five-headed asura Mura.
For I know not of any other joy supreme, that can be compared,
to Hari carana smarana amrta or the ambrosia
of recollection of Hari's feet. 9
