I just talked to Mallika on the phone as she was headed out the door. She hasn't had the chance to answer everyone, but is very moved by everyone's good wishes.
She told me that her birthday wish, which she has held in her heart for some time, and which has become enflamed from seeing the pictures of Braja, Rasaraja and Tarun Govinda, is to go to Radha Kund and take diksha from Pandit Baba. So let's all join in wishing her the fulfilment of this desire.

My mum is also Malika, but with one L in her name. Her name is name of eternal associate of Yashoda Devi, and is it your one the same spelling, or name of a flower?
My mum is just older 4 years than you. But both of you are still very young....

My name is Malika with one L as well. So Malika is the name of eternal associate of Yoshoda Devi? Malika means flowers' garland (small) while Mallika is a flower. You are right, Tamalji! So there could be Mallika garland, mallikA-mAlikA, Malika made of Mallika flowers.
