Sure no problem. Go here and get Itranslator. It's free.

This would belong to the tech section.

Govindaram, what kind of software do you use for producing your PDFs? Why can't you just embed regular diacritic fonts into your PDFs?
Govindaram - Sat, 25 Sep 2004 05:06:01 +0530

Hare Krishna,

It will contain song of Six Goswamis, i.e

Krsna Deva Bhavantam Vande
"I Praise You Lord Krsna"
from Stava-Mala by Srila Rupa Goswami

Krsna Prema Mayi Radha
Yugalastakam
Eight Verses Glorifying the Divine Couple
by Srila Jiva Goswami

But contain Mainly songs are by Narottam Dasa Thakur.

Anyway. To Madhava ji I use a Free PDF Programme using HTML:

http://www.easysw.com/htmldoc/software.php

Embed doesn't work. If I can't figure it out then I have to use non-diacrtics, but then I don't see the point, cause you won't be able to pronounce the words. Its Sanskrit! Not English! Any pointers?

Ps. I won't give up. I am just saying that.
Madhava - Sat, 25 Sep 2004 05:07:19 +0530
How about using the good old Microsoft Word for keying in your diacritics?
Govindaram - Sat, 25 Sep 2004 05:27:48 +0530

OMG

Madhava ji

I said they don't show up.

they look like this in pdf:

hare kåñëa, hare kåñëa, kåñëa kåñëa, hare hare
hare räma, hare räma, räma räma, hare hare.

Madhava - Sat, 25 Sep 2004 05:32:21 +0530
OK. So the font isn't embedded. If that free program has a feature for embedding fonts, activate that. If not, you'll need to be looking for a program that will embed fonts into PDFs. Adobe Acrobat will do that for you, if all else fails.

MMm ok

I tried everything. Just doesn't work. Embedding fonts just doesn't work. Oh well.

Thx anyway for the help. Goodbye
