Dandavats. All glories to the Vaisnavas.

Do you have the videos in another format other than avi?

Actually, the plan is to make them all AVI for a number of reasons.

Do you have problems with AVIs? Please explain, I'll try to help you out.

For some reason none of my players will play AVI files (Windows Media Player, Quicktime or Real Player).

They should play those files just fine. You just need to have the proper codec installed to
uncompress the packed video. The videos are compressed with a special codec to pack maximum quality into minimum size.

Please download the XviD codec and install it. (This file is for Windows.)

Mac users need to install ffmpegX to view these files. Linux users don't need instructions. cool.gif

Could you convert those clips to QuickTime?

Having two versions of each file would not be a very economical use of webspace. Check out the link to FFmpegX above for the codecs for viewing these with Mac.

If you have the XVid codec already installed, and the videos look odd, try uninstalling the version you have and installing the one linked to from this thread.

If you have problems in general, when you PM or e-mail me, please describe the problem. Which media player were you using, what was the error message, what is your operating system? I am not a clairvoyant.
