Morning-bhajan and seva at a small Mandir - Gour Vinod Angan, in Sri Nabadwip Dham

This is a video clip of morning bhajan from my parivar-connection place, a small Mandir at the Ganga in Sri Nabadwip Dham, surrounded by lush green forrest. A grihasta-couple does the seva there, guru-bai and guru-bon of mine.

Since it is before sunrise, the clip is taken with infra-red. When recording videos in a small sangha, one also wants to participate as well as not be too visible with the camera. There are all kinds of conflicts of interest. Partly I took this video to see the way a Bengali bhakta plays the harmonium. I did not think I was going to publish this. I would have done it differently, had I thought of that. It is as it is, and I offer it to you as such for viewing, to get an impression. the idea is to give an impression of how traditional Gaudiya Vaishnavas are together, do sankirtan and deal with each other.
Joy Nitai.

This second video shows regular morning-seva done at that Mandir, but this time done by a disciple who has come for diksha, to spend a few days with his guru. This is the way it is done in Gaudiya practice. Now at this day he receives some instructions to do some menial services (which normally the guru does himself) at the Mandir, serving the Thakurs, Sri Sri Nitai-Gaur, and the samadhis of the guru-pranali.

There is nothing spectacular here, just a normal human exchange. This is a very sweet place, with very sweet bhaktas and seva; everyone who comes here to witness and participate in this simplicity, loves it and cannot forget it again.

Ending morning seva; then enters the lady that took bath in the Ganga (see 2nd photo of A day in the Life of the Ganga: http://www.gaudiyadiscussions.com/index.php?showtopic=1900 )
and brought water for her household; on her way to her house every morning she brings flowers that she picked...

For friends who cannot open or download videos at home or on public Internet-cafe stations, here are some fotos contained in the above video clips.

The Thakurs served here are Sri Sri Nitai-Gaur in the form of a behind-glass painting. This was originally the Bhajan-Kutir and Mandir of Sri Gour-Vinod dasji, my param-guruji. They were later served by my baba Sri Vishvambhar das Babaji Maharaja, after taking vesh from Sri Manohar das Babaji of Goverdhan.
