Mayapur - The BirthPlace of Mahaprabhu

Is the Gaudiya Math and Iskcon now the only ones who recognize yogapith in Mayapur as Mahaprabhu's birthplace?

Where does Ananta das Pandit say it is?

Wrong place betalji... for your thread here, I mean.tongue.gif

I think BVT was clairvoyant and defined the place on the other side, so that the peace of Prajin Mayapur will not be disturbed by all the foreigners and the saffron Mafia. Now GM and Iskcon throng nicely in one place... cool.gif

Without joking: it is a reality. Unimaginable if the zoo and the rest of the big org was on Nabadwip Dham side.

Yes, Bhaktivinoda was very benign to the residents of peaceful and sylvan Pracin Mayapur. biggrin.gif Only recently it started getting paved and urbanised, but not by those bonafide prabhus that are so expert in destroying demons....

The yogapith itself is taken care of by the Pat Bari bhaktas (of Ramadas Babaji's successors). I am not sure what to think of it. They tend to turn places into museums, just as they do with Sri Nityananda's janmasthan in Ekacakra as well. But they do show an effort, and peacefulness and purity of the place is maintained.

I still didn't get an answer.
Are Gaudiya Matha and Iskcon the only ones who see the Yogapita place in Mayapur as Mahaprabhu's birth place?

Basically, yes. There may be individuals here and there, but I don't think any other groups as such share this view. Of course other followers of Bhaktivinoda would also think along those lines.

Srila Bhaktivinoda hadn't been the only one who discovered the Bith Place of Sriman Mahaprabhu. Srila Gaura Kishora Das Babaji sanctioned that.

Wasn't.
